About Us
Before 2018, competitive volleyball in the region was split across multiple distinct setups, including Solent Volleyball Club and Team Southampton. To consolidate resources, raise the standard of play on the south coast, and offer clear pathways from recreational to national-level play, the two organizations joined forces. The result was Southampton Volleyball Club—a unified entity designed to represent the city on the national stage.
With 4 teams representing SVC in the National Volleyball league, we are the place for competitive volleyball in the county. With the addition of the clubs new Juniors section and a 3rd men's team competing in the county leagues, we are aiming to provide a pathway from a new player picking up the sport for the first time, all the way to high level volleyball.
